Study Title:
Research Engagement for Better Understanding in Limb Decision-Making (REBUILD)
Study Location:
Columbia, MO / Online
Research Objectives:
REBUILD is a group of patients, caregivers, doctors, and researchers working together to improve care for people with serious limb injuries. Team members will share their experiences and help identify the questions that future research should answer.
The goal is to make sure research focuses on what matters most to patients and families who have gone through the experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
Adults who have experienced a serious injury to their hand, arm, leg, or foot
People who have faced difficult treatment decisions, including the decision between limb reconstruction or amputation
Family members or friends who helped care for someone with a serious limb injury
No research experience is needed. Your experiences, opinions, and insights are what matter most
Compensation Details:
$60/hour (approximately $3000/year)

Time Commitment:
Attend one or two meetings each month (virtual or in person)
