Join Us for a Day of Connection Right in Your Community!
Community Days are your opportunity to come together with others in the limb loss and limb difference community—right in your area! These events are designed to bring resources, learning, and connection directly to you and your neighbors.
From discussions on Insurance, Mental Health, and Pain Management to interactive workshops on Life Skills, Career Development, and Assistive Technology, you’ll find sessions tailored to what matters most to you. Plus, dive into activities like Parasports and other fun, hands-on experiences that uplift and empower.
Want to make a difference in your community? Become a Certified Peer Visitor (CPV). A CPV is someone who has experienced limb loss or limb difference and is trained to provide one-on-one support, encouragement, and practical advice to others. As a CPV, you can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life by offering your unique insights and understanding. An 8-hour Certified Peer Visitor training will accompany each Community Day. To learn if you meet the criteria to become a Certified Peer Visitor, visit Amputee-Coalition.org/peer-support.
Each Community Day is a collaboration between the Amputee Coalition, organizations, and community members, creating an exciting and immersive experience close to home. It’s all about building connections where you live, making new friends, and growing stronger together.
Find out when we’re coming to your area and don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and grow—right in your own backyard!
