The World of Possibilities Expo, a free consumer exposition, will be held November 4-5, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (both days) at the Landmark Mall in Alexandria, Virginia. A Senior Expo will be held in conjunction with the disabilities expo. Ample accessible parking has been arranged for expo attendees.

 

Thousands of attendees can explore the vast array of products, services and information, such as:

  • Assistive and adaptive technologies
  • Durable medical equipment
  • Computer software
  • Mobility products
  • Living aids
  • Nursing care and assistive living facilities
  • Elder Law resources
  • Recreation, travel and nutrition

World of Possibilities will offer demonstrations and representatives from local and statewide agencies/organizations will be on hand to assist the target communities in gaining more information about available supports, services and resources.

 

The World of Possibilities Expo is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities, seniors, their families and caregivers, as well as healthcare and education professionals.

 

Caring Communities, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, which offers quality respite care training and maintains a registry of trained respite care providers. Expo proceeds from WORLD OF POSSIBILITES will go directly to serving children with disabilities and their families.
