The Amputee Coalition of America is excited to announce the publication of SideStep: A Guide to Preventing and Managing Diabetes and Its Complications. ACA is happy to offer you one free copy of this important new publication if you send us your request no later than June 1, 2007.
Nearly 21 million children and adults in the U.S. live with diabetes and another 54 million are considered to be pre-diabetic. In 2002 alone, diabetes cost our country $92 billion in direct medical costs. While diabetes can be one of the most invasive diseases, it can also be manageable.
