Jeffrey Lutz, CPO

The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) has elected Jeffrey S. Lutz, CPO, to its board of directors. Lutz is the regional vice president and market leader of Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics Inc., Lafayette, Louisiana. He joined Hanger as a staff prosthetist in 1986 in Orlando, Florida, and then worked as a manager and area manager in Louisiana and Texas. Previously, he worked for Southern Prosthetic Supply (SPS), Bethesda, Maryland.

 

 

Paddy Rossbach, president and CEO of the Amputee Coalition of America, said, "We are delighted to bring an individual such as Jeff Lutz to the board of the Amputee Coalition, with his 23-year history serving the clinical, educational, and emotional needs of amputees." She added, "Jeff brings particular experience and insights regarding pediatric and geriatric prosthetic care. As the parent of a child who has experienced limb loss, he has a firsthand understanding of all of the issues involved."

Lutz holds a bachelor of science degree from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, with post-graduate work in prosthetics and orthotics at the department of orthopedics at Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Illinois. He completed an orthotic residency at Children's Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana, and a prosthetic residency at the Myoelectric Institute of Orlando, Florida.
