ACA Names New Staff Writer
ACA announces the appointment of Scott McNutt as staff writer.

-- The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) is proud to announce the appointment of Scott McNutt as staff writer. He contributes to inMotion, First Step, YAZ (Youth Activities e-Zine) and other ACA publications.

 

McNutt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in College Scholars, Emphasis in Creative Writing, and a Master’s Degree in European History from the University of Tennessee.

 

His previous work includes several years as a cartoonist for UT’s student newspaper, The Daily Beacon, a dozen years as technical editor and advertising manager for an engineering firm, and a much shorter stint as managing editor for Metro Pulse, an alternative weekly newspaper.

Founded in 1986, the Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) is a national 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee. The mission of the ACA is to reach out to people with limb loss and to empower them through education, support and advocacy.
